1. Using Threadwell

You may use Threadwell only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. You are responsible for the information you choose to add to the app, including notes about other people, manually entered facts, linked events, and imported contact-derived data.

2. Accounts and access

Threadwell currently supports account access through email/password, Google sign-in, and Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

3. App features

The app is structured around user-scoped friends, interactions, and events. Threadwell may also offer optional features such as contacts sync, local notifications, and premium features including paid subscriptions, relationship chat, and keep-up reminders.

Features may change, be added, or be removed over time. We may also set usage limits, including limits on free interaction logging.

4. AI-assisted features

Threadwell uses AI-assisted functionality to help parse interaction notes and generate chat responses based on your saved data. These outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be treated as assistive summaries, not guaranteed factual records.

You remain responsible for reviewing important information before relying on it.

5. Contacts and permissions

Contacts access is optional and requires permission on your device. If you enable contacts sync, Threadwell may import contact details such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, and birthdays for use inside the app, including name matching, contact linking, and birthday event creation.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Some features are available only with a paid subscription. In-app purchases and renewals are handled through Apple's billing systems and subscription management surfaces. Pricing, billing periods, trials, renewals, and cancellation rules are presented to you in the purchase flow and by Apple.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Threadwell to violate privacy rights, break the law, harass others, upload malicious material, interfere with the app, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts or infrastructure.

8. Data deletion

The app includes controls to sign out, delete imported contacts data, and delete your account. Account deletion is intended to permanently remove your Threadwell account and associated app data. Deleting contacts data in the app does not delete contacts from your iPhone.

9. Availability and disclaimers

Threadwell is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, absolute accuracy of extracted facts, successful delivery of notifications, or continued availability of any specific integration or third-party service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Threadwell and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, relationships, profits, or device access arising from your use of the app.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Threadwell after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
